"Really excellent sense of melody."

This is one of the best piano-only pieces I've ever heard. It's never uninteresting. Fantastic job.

I am VERY impressed with how you almost made those Windows XP sounds sound like acoustic instruments!! Fantastic!

Check out some of my stuff too. :)

Collateral Groove

"Very unique"

submission: Collateral Groove
date: October 22, 2009

I won't lie, I enjoyed this groove. It's catchy in an unusual way. Not sure why you put in so many Asian melodies. But this is still catchy as hell. What did you use for those glitch effects? Gross Beat?

October 22, 2009

Author's Response:

First off, glad you liked the tune. :-)

And no, I didn't use gross beat. But I'm gonna look into that now because several people mentioned it and I've never heard of it before. What I actually used for the glitch effects was db_glitch for the most part. Now there were a few here and there that I created with other plug-ins heaped on top of each other. But for the most part, it was db_glitch.

Thanks for the review.

I like how it's intentionally "off"-sounding. Very nice. :)

By the way, you and I have the exact same first name. True story.

Author's Response:

thanks! and yeah, thats weird, about the name thing. my parents actually got the idea for my name from Garrett Morris, who was on Saturday Night Live like 20 years ago

It really is incredibly well produced. But the lyrics are pretty bad.

Just one Soul - Mjattie

"Fantastic!"

date: June 12, 2009

I can really hear your understanding of music and what makes it flow. This is a gorgeous piece and very evocative. One of my favs from around here. Nicely done.

It's amazing what a little piano can do that all of the pro-quality synths in the world can't...

This is like the anti-Watchmen... but it's hilarious for it.

Nice job. XD

"Great atmosphere"

submission: - Aftermath -
date: January 27, 2009

This works really well for a title theme, which is what it was intended for. Musically, though, I can tell you didn't really make this to be listened to individually.

Author's Response:

Thanks, I definitely know what you mean. It works well as a menu theme, but not necessarily on its own.

The youtube link is in the author comment if you fancy it though.
