Well, it looks like I've been paired against Envy for the NG Deathmatch contest! I've got less than two weeks to finish my song, but it's probably going to have to wait until after finals. I have a WIP of my entry posted but now I think I'm gonna have to give it some more time if I want to stand a chance against Envy... I'm just glad this is going to be judged by predetermined users and not a popularity contest.

In other news, I'm doing the sound design for a play at my school, which needs to be done today! Yikes!

I've moved on from leisurely composition to game composition! I'm excited for this change; my musical versatility has already been challenged. Oddly enough, all of the new loops I've posted have been more popular than many of my full-length songs... not really sure what to make of this.

I've only been on NewGrounds (or active on it) for a week or two, and I already loathe zero bombers with a passion. The whole idea of rating a song the worst possible score and taking off without leaving any constructive criticism is lamer than lame. And it's hardly ever justified... artists need constructive feedback in order to improve their work, no matter how much it sucks. People must just get a kick out off holding extreme opinions at the expense of others. I thought most people grew out of that behavior in third grade.

*sigh*
